After the Prayer Was Answered Differently

Daisy prayed earnestly for healing. She believed wholeheartedly that God could do it. When the diagnosis remained unchanged, disappointment hit harder than doubt ever had. Trusting God now meant accepting an answer she didn’t want.

Over time, Daisy discovered a deeper truth. God’s presence didn’t disappear when the answer differed from her request. Strength replaced despair, and peace replaced anger. Trusting God matured her faith—not because circumstances changed, but because her understanding of God’s faithfulness deepened.
