Every message carries truth—but not every truth is easily
carried.
Jesus understood this. That is why He taught with stories.
Seeds, fields, coins, lamps, storms, fathers, sons—ordinary things that
revealed eternal realities. Stories slowed people down. They invited listeners
to lean in, to see themselves, and to remember.
The Illustration Project exists in
that same spirit.
This blog is a space dedicated to original sermon illustrations—stories written to help bridge the distance between Scripture and daily life. Some illustrations will be short and simple. Others will linger and invite reflection. Many will touch on very real struggles: anxiety, fear, waiting, doubt, obedience, faith under pressure, and the quiet battles of the soul.
Each post is created with ministry in mind. Whether you are:

My prayer is that these stories will serve you—not as replacements for Scripture, but as windows that help illuminate it.
This project will continue to grow, category by category, story by story. If even one illustration helps clarify truth, awaken conviction, or bring encouragement to a weary heart, then the purpose of this blog is fulfilled.
