The Weight of Tomorrow

Every night at exactly 11:47 p.m., Daniel’s mind began to race. Not about the past—but about tomorrow. Bills, meetings, expectations, conversations that hadn’t happened yet. His body lay in bed, but his thoughts sprinted ahead into a future he couldn’t control. By morning, he was exhausted from living a day that never came.

Spiritual Connection:
Anxiety often pulls us into imagined futures where God has not yet asked us to live. Jesus calls us back to the present—where grace is available now, not borrowed from tomorrow. Trust begins when we stop rehearsing outcomes and start resting in God’s daily provision.

Key Verse:
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34
